The Lotus and the Turtle
The sun cast a warm glow upon the tranquil waters of the pond. Upon its rim bloomed a lovely lotus, its petals unfurling. Deep beneath the water's depths, a wise reptile made its/his home. The turtle, known for its wisdom, had seen many things in her lifetime. The lotus, with its dazzling display, drew the sight of all who visited the pond. But th
